Hi

I copied some code from plone's templates, and I get error from the &mdash: This probably means that some of the standard views in plone doesnt validate (?)
_____

<tal:newsitem condition="python: item_type == 'News Item'">
                        <tal:name tal:condition="item_creator"
tal:define="author python:pas_member.info (item_creator)"> <span class="documentAuthor" i18n:translate="label_by_author">
                            by
                          <a href="#"
tal:attributes="href string:$ {navigation_root_url}/author/${item_creator}"
                             tal:content="author/name_or_id"
                             tal:omit-tag="not:author"
                             i18n:name="author">
                            Bob Dobalina
                          </a>
                          </span>
                        </tal:name>
                        &mdash;

                    </tal:newsitem>

I have this:
http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/medialog.moreviews/trunk/ medialog/moreviews/skins/moreviews/visualbox.pt
How do I validate it ?

xmllint can take either a URL or a filename, so this works:

xmllint -noout
http://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/medialog.moreviews/trunk/ medialog/moreviews/skins/moreviews/visualbox.pt

that shows that you forgot to declare a lot of XML namespaces, but your
XML file is syntactically correct.

Wichert.
