Oh we query against our local cursors too, Frank, I'm sure, but we leave that code out of the UI and instead put it in the data tier most likely. It's not for snobby purposes but as you know (since you do n-tier also), once you "get it" and work in this mode, it makes development a lot easier, imo. > > I'm also a relative newbie here on profox <snipped> And we're glad to have you here, Frank! -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/4f296a81.4030...@mbsoftwaresolutions.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
