Brian, I'm late to this thread and have actually removed the history so I don't really know your circumstances. However, I have some custom software to recover data from busted Memo/Index files that I wrote with a couple of other colleagues some time ago now when we were really in the "sh*t" on one project and desperately needed to recover data that a client had no backups for!
I believe Rafael was unable to recover all of the data so If you want I could run it through our suite of programs and see if I can recover some more. I know just how frustrating it is to have data that is "so near but so far". Drop me an email if I can help. I can't promise anything but we may well be able to help. Those missing memo and index files: I assume that they cannot be recreated from what remains. Ah, well. I have been trying to see what I can do with the individual DBF files but haven't quite mastered how to rescue what data is in them yet. I want to say once again that I very much appreciate your help and the suggestions of other members. In the zip file attached I am returning your tables, with the very few indexes I could recover. Many tables could not be opened because their memo files were either missing or corrupted. And there were many missing index files I included a Excel file with all the findings I hope I could be of help Best regards Rafael Copquin [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/18725b8cd2d5d247873a2baf401d4ab22a3cc...@ex2010-a-fpl.fpl.LOCAL ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
