Couldn’t get the damn thing running...

Now why didn’t I like fedora.
Buddy sent me a joke with a wmv file.
Couldn’t play it.
Tried several things to download the codecs and none of them worked..

Took the damn computer outside and applied the shotgun rule to it.

It definitely is stable, never said it wasn’t.
But it’s a whole new learning curve.

Can't see windows (vista) being that much different then (XP), but I have 25
years experience with that and if I ever get lucky enough to pick up another
contract, then vista will be another feather in my cap, whereas linux won't.

Sorry guys, but data ho's RULE...!!!!
Unless they're farmed out to India <grin>
