Stephen: That has not been my experience. Mine fires up instantly and
I have not seen an update although there have been some. Maybe they do
it at another time then boot up.
My wife has a MAC and when we fire up our laptops on the weekend, I
always smile. She doesn't like my Chromebook but she's talking about
getting one.

Did I mention that it is very light weight?
I have bought a ton of stuff from Woot that is refurb or reconditioned.
Everything has been like new.

I have had good luck with Woot as well on refurb items. Have an Asus
chrome tablet that is so slow at startup because it is downloading
everything before I ever think I wanted it. If I plug it in a half hour
early I'll have it and be happy with it.
Should be able to find the Don't download shit in droid setups but never
can seem to find that setting option. Why are you wasting bandwidth for
app updates unless I tell you to do it on so many apps?
