Over the past 2 years I have been using ZyXEL P-330W Wifi Routers. Not only
have they proven reliable, producing excellent range and performance, they
are extremely flexible in configuration. For instance, I can set up a ZyXEL
as a WiFi Router, with or without DHCP Server for LAN, as a simple swtch
that allows the WiFi to work in a LAN as a WAP, as a bridge unit (must have
2 WAPs for this), or as a WiFi WAN enabled unit. Most other WiFi units I
have come across are either WAPs or Wifi Routers, not configurable as one or
the other. I carry a ZyXEL when I travel as they are so flexible, and more
than once having that added felxibility was what gave me the edge in getting
something done expediently with no further investment in hardware, or having
to wait for the next busienss day and buying another piece of equipment.
