I had a DLink router and didn't like it very well. I then switched to Linksys
and have had good luck with them for the couple of years I have used them. I am
also using a Buffalo as a bridge to bring wired connection to a few network
devices and computers such as my desktop, laptop, and a network laser printer.
Buffalo seems to be doing an excellent job as well. I would definitely recommend
both. As mentioned, what works for one person may not work for others.

FYI, watch out too if you have a 2.4GHZ wireless phone in the house; it
will cause interference and potentially problems.

Subject: [NF] Home Wireless router suggestions

Have had a Linksys for a while .. HATE IT! Locks up constantly, has to
be power-cycled several times a day. The wired-only Linksys router I
worked great so i was expecting better - but this one has been nothing but
trouble. I know I am not alone in having issues with it. Has been
getting worse for the last week or so. it needs to go - now!

Most of our wireless cards support 802.11g so that would be nice. Needs a
few wired ports as well, gigbit is nice but not required as only my notebook
has one.

Any suggestions? dLink? newer Linksys? Something else?
