I use something like the CursorAdapter. I'm not going to start a debate about SP or not like this: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000292.html I will point out 1 thing I've never seen any of these great debaters mention. With ad-hoc parameterized SQL, USERS can do any combination of filtering THEY need. They win, we all win. They lose, we get fired. I don't let them build the entire SQL command, just the filtering parts.
