It is really bugging me that Obama is getting around 90% of the black vote while Hillary is getting a small amount. The numbers for white votes for each are actually very close in percentage. I am concerned that racism is responsible for a lot of those votes, and I hope I am wrong. I voted for Hillary over Edwards because Edwards is so confrontational, and I think it comes from being a trial lawyer where someone must "win". If I'm stuck with a lawyer I'd prefer it be someone with a civil background where most cases are settled. I voted for Hillary over Obama because I see the country getting swept up over great speeches and not so much looking at substance. All Hillary HAS is her substance. She's not that great at speeches, and she keeps talking about minutia which tends to bore a lot of people. I'd just rather have a more known commodity in the white house.
