I understand that this person has really gotten your goat, but if you're 
writing CYA memos, as you stated above, may I suggest that you take a 
break before replying to her, and tone it down a bit.  From here in the 
third-party bleachers, a few of your notes to her appear to be a bit 
inflammatory.    Well deserved, no doubt, but that sort of defeats the 
purpose of CYA memos.  IMHO.
