Hi David! ". . . Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch." Gen 4:17 Huh? Cain's wife? Who was she? Where did she come from? No one knows for sure, however it is clear from the text of Genesis 4 that there were people outside of the Garden of Eden who were not Adam and Eve's children. Where did they come from? I think they evolved from whatever, Darwin style. But Adam God created from dust, and then fashioned Eve from Adam's rib. Both the evolved people and the created people are human. God made the stuff of life, that from which the evolved people evolved. If this is so, and of course it is only my opinion, then there is no conflict between the doctrine of creation and the theory of evolution. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
