It's been my experience that a less adversarial relationship works 
better. Deep into the testing cycle, when everybody's tired of the 
whole thing, it's much too easy to say "That [jerk] again. I'm sick 
of his bad ideas."

And, Mike, one important thing you're looking for is the ability to 
pound on the same program the same way eight million times without 
going off the deep end. Even if your applicant doesn't have testing 
experience, there can be other jobs on the resume that give you 
confidence.
