I've already posted a link to Senator Obama's Wiki which list many many accomplishment, but to bring it up to date:
Obama defeated Hillary Clinton, a 20 point favorite going into the primary election according to the polls, to become the democratic nominee for President of the United States. This is a very impressive accomplishment in itself. Senator Obama has raised more money in campaign contributions than any other presidential candidate in history, and he will turn out more voters for the 2008 elections than any other candidate in history.
