This is the age old problem david. I have done analysis for clients that show guaranteed profits if they just changed what they did a little bit and they refuse.
Then they have me do projects that i know will just cost them money and not improve sales. I say just send them friendly emails of how you see it to the people in charge and try to block out the pain. Small business owners are the most stubborn group of people in the world. if they didn't think of it, then it isn't good. If you think of it, it isn't good. If they come up with the same idea that you told them 3 years ago to do, then it's great.
