I agree about not having anything biometric. While I do like the fact that
people have to carry an id in the US, I don't want the govt. tracking
citizens. I am listed as "other" in our local voters registration database
for just that reason. I'm astounded by the logic some use whereby they are
saying they WANT illegal aliens in our country. I'm all for bringing "legal"
immigrants into the country, but . . . . I guess they'll be supporting
burglars, robbers, etc. next. What other country lets people invade their
country?

I don't know about Down Under, but here in the UK I never carry ID,
unless you count a credit card & a couple of reward cards.
I'm voting tonight.  I won't be carrying ID nor will I be asked for it.

I'm against ID cards, especially anything biometric.
