Peter,
You have the option even on the free version of either using the domain
password or a password you nominate just for the logmein session. Obviously
if the PC itself is logged out of the domain then the main "windows login
screen" will require the domain password but in this case, just disable the
screen saver logout or ensure it is logged in when the session starts.

We just recently needed support from a supplier who wanted to use 
logmein to access one of our PC's.  From what I could see from the help 
and forums the only way they could get access to the PC was by using the 
windows login I.e. the domain login.  There was no way we were going to 
give them a password onto the domain. 

Can that be done differently (Pro version maybe?)

We now either open a port and they use VNC or webex.
