Hi Geoff, "Kiddie Porn" is one of the bureaucratic "OK hatreds" in the US. Never mind that sometimes it is the difference of 17 1/2 vs 18 years old. Most perpetrators violating most laws have "constitutional protections" and this is frustrating to certain kinds of law enforcement personalities. But there is an informal "open season" on pedophiles and kiddie porn users, who also have "rights" but no one pushes it. I mean, we are talking guys (maybe gals) who got into a profession because it had the potential for some kick butt action and now most of the time they are constrained by all these rights . . . > Michael Madigan wrote: >> http://m.apnews.mobi/ap/db_6776/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=sYo2Xd5M > > Hi Michael, > > This is one of the "guilty until you prove yourself innocent" areas: > > "One of the agents runs up and basically throws him down the stairs, and > he's got the cuts and bruises to show for it," said Covert, who said the > homeowner plans no lawsuit.
