Hi Matt,

Ya know, it's sooooo funny that this conversation has come up again...

Not that Travellin' Bill was my inspiration, but I was seriously thinking of
doing more or less the same thing. I am aware of Bill's situation that drove
his decision but mine differs - I would just like to semi-retire and explore
other things...

My thinking was park a trailer someplace, live cheap, be a camp host for
free lodging at the site, do some consulting work, some writing...
for my needs it wouldn't really take much $$$ to pull it off...

I had come to the decision to go for it by the time I'm 50 at the end of the
year, and lo and behold her it comes in a couple of months...

BUT, right after deciding to do this, I met the woman of my (supposed)
dreams, got married and all those plans went out the window... <g>

BUT, now that that ain't working out, I might come back to this idea...
rather tempting... I'll consider it Plan B at this point...

----------------------------------------------------------------

I thought you had a really good idea with the home brewers software.

If you're still involved with that, it might be a good way to have income
while on the road. Any chance of making a deal with a company who sells
equipment for that purpose?

Talking about being on the road, you've got the Pacific Coast highway there.
I've driven the southern part (LA area) by car, was very impressed, and
thought it would be a really good way to spend some time.

Bill
