Governor Romney was well seasoned coming off the debates for the
Republican nomination. He was hardened by strong contenders like Rick
Santorum, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, etc.
President Obama, on the other hand, was off his game having not debated
for four years.

It seems like Governor Romney was given all the advantages including; Obama had
to go first to start the debate, Governor Romney went last to end the debate,
and it didn't seem to matter which candidate spoke first on a topic, Governor
Romney always had the last word, which often ran minutes. It would be
interesting to tally the speaking time of possession between the two candidates.
