President Obama was plenty macho as a high school and college basketball athlete. One the other hand; although Governor Romney has a wife and kids, he sure walks funny. LOL (eg He seem to be a little light in the loafers if you know what I mean.). LOL

Your idea of a debate seems to be a no holds bared cage fight. I doubt
the American people would get much out of that kind of format.

The shame is, to a certain extent, the debate did follow that format.
Mitt Romney did well by disregarding the rules in interrupting the
President, especially when the President was to speak about something
Governor Romney did not want the American people to hear. After
Governor Romney hijacked a topic, he maintained it with barrage after
barrage of fast talking criticisms of the President, while praising
himself. Still, in all the interruptions and fast talking Governor
Romney said little, if anything, about the details of how he plans to
run the country, which is scary.

I fear Governor Romney might start more wars in the middle east,
especially Iran, as about 2/3 of his foreign policy advisers are Neocons
from the Bush era. Although governor Romney doesn't like the term,
Neocon, he does like the Neoconservative philosophy and the Neocons seem
to have gotten into his head.

I'll discount the moderator as he was asleep. You are telling me that President
Obama is incapable of defending his position and holding his own against ONE
man? Well past time for him to go if that is the case.

I'll give you a better suggestion, Barry is a caricature of a politician who
has been exposed as an empty suit.

So you are operating from the same rule book.
The debate had a very well defined set of rule, if that's what you mean, but
Governor Romney evidently developed some bad habits during his debates for the
Republican nomination. Governor Romney used these acquired bad habits by
interrupting the moderator, or President Obama, so essentially he was playing
by his own set of rules. This allowed him to run over both the moderator and
President Obama. The moderator couldn't handle Governor Romney, who kept
steeling the floor and then maintaining it by talking faster than a New York
salesman. LOL

Governor Romney was well seasoned coming off the debates for the Republican
nomination. He was hardened by strong contenders like Rick Santorum, Rick
Perry, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, etc.

President Obama, on the other hand, was off his game having not debated for
four years.

The debate was badly moderated. Jim Lehrer, with big blue eyes so rounded that
I couldn't even see any white in them, need to back off the coffee or
something? LOL

It seems like Governor Romney was given all the advantages including; Obama had
to go first to start the debate, Governor Romney went last to end the debate,
and it didn't seem to matter which candidate spoke first on a topic, Governor
Romney always had the last word, which often ran minutes. It would be
interesting to tally the speaking time of possession between the two candidates.
