Hey there Stephen, Thanks also for your Input - I really appreciate it!
As you will see in the other reply back to Bill's response - I'm planning to probably make a short version - and apply many of your suggestions to it - along with some of Nick's suggestions. I may do Edit where the whole video is like 5 minutes long - this way - it keeps it short - and maybe can get even MORE people to view it. I also liked what you said about Contact info and Text. True - I can even make the Text parts really Short in time - and, if people want - they just hit pause to read it again. And - yes - U R right - must have been about 3 hours worth or more of original content - including regular video footage, screen capture videos and Audio capture - all knocked down to like around 25 minutes. And, that's what I was worried about - whether it just might be too long. I think the idea of 2 versions - a short one, maybe time lapsed pieces like Nick suggested within it - and a long/Un-Abrdged version - might really be the way to go... Thanks again for your feedback! Now its time we do some beers again!!! -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stephen Russell Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2012 10:35 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NF] Dragon - a HUGE Rapid Prototyping Project & a Video for Review... For Kurt. Talk a lot less and show more of the work faster. Put in background music and remove as much narration as possible. The brain is great at catching visual data, take spam for instance. Try to edit the video you have to 1/4 the current length. Instead of saying your contact info use text to put it out. Anyone who want's to get with you can hit the pause button and record what they need. Video editing is hard work. You start with 1.5 hours of tape and in most cases you only need to fill 1.5 min or a 30 sec commercial.
