Thanks for your input. I will go through your suggestions and get more info on these machines. I don't mind a kit type of printer; it should cost a lot less. My interest is building model railroad structures for outdoor layouts in O-scale. Originally I was thinking of buying an XY-engraving machine to build master molds but 3D printing may do everything I need.
