Hi Bob,

The changes look good to me on Ubuntu and Centos.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

The JHS ide has been updated with a patch that should correct the double
appearance of the Video labs in J 901. When you have updated with JAL then
restart the session and the changes should be in effect. I have been running
these changes for about a week and have seen no unintended consequences, but if
you or anyone else does, please let us know.

Cheers, bob

Hi Bob,

It looks like the problem is related to file name processing differences
between Ubuntu and Centos.

Here is more data from Ubuntu:

    +/q=:;(1 e.'Video'E.])&.>LABTITLES_jijx_
2
    ,.q#LABFILES_jijx_
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
???/media/home2/me/Downloads/j901/addons/media/videolabs/headjqt.ijt???
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
???/media/home2/me/Downloads/j901/addons/media/videolabs/headjhs.ijt???
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

On Centos, the file sequence for these two labs is reversed and the jhs version
precedes the jqt version.

It looks like the lab loader loads the first matching lab in the list:

    labrun_jijx_ 'Video - The Head Monadic Verb - {.y'
/media/home2/me/Downloads/j901/addons/media/videolabs/headjqt.ijt
JHS lab advance - ctrl+. or menu >
ctrl+. or menu > advances
1 of 78 in /media/home2/me/Downloads/j901/addons/media/videolabs/headjqt.ijt
Lab: Video - The Head Monadic Verb - {.y

So, as a result, my Ubuntu jhs runs the jqt lab and my Centos jhs runs the jhs
lab.

Interesting David,

Those lines are only in the jqt version of the lab. I wonder if it is a result
of the duplicated lab in the labs list. We haven't seen that in other platforms
as the duplication seems to run the JHS version from either of the duplicated
links.

Part of the challenge is that I am using the new platform to write my labs and
it looks like excludes has not been implemented to remove labs that cannot run
in JHS. Since this looks like a jqt version running in JHS, I would wait to
get the excluded labs thing cleaned up before we determine that the Ubuntu
platform is the problem.

Thank you so much for the testing. I am only on Mac, so your wider view is very
much appreciated.

Cheers, bob
