boxed list of columns if we want mixed datatypes which
would be necessary for a drop-in replacement of dataframes
the list of column names imo should not be separated
but those are implementation concerns

otoh, we already have a binding to R where you can deal
with dataframes easily – do we want to “compete” here, too?
