I reckon that it will be many months or years before I can move to J701
- I will need 2D and 3D graphics, plot, grid, and something like wd
forms. In the meantime library development continues.

Does Pacman keep different library versions for 6.02 and 7.01, so that I
can get packages out for use in 6.02 without fear that I will get some
feature that works only in 7.01?

And, do the current development plans allow for continuing upgrades to
6.02 libraries? I expect that many users will be in my case and not be
able to leave 6.02, and it would be good if they could benefit from
continuing work.

I have a couple of things for the math library - a mod to amoeba.ijs and
a new script that Marshall wrote for Powell's method - and I have been
holding off because I knew the libraries were in flux. But now that I
finally understand that JFE is not continuing into J7, I would like to
know where I should put these changes so that they will be available to
J602 and J7.
