As I understand it then the J.exe will still be in the same form as before. That would mean that what you are doing in J6 in J.exe will work the same in J7 J.exe
It is only if you want to use the new front ends JHS or GTK that your apps will need to be changed. What has been stated is that J.exe will live on but not be enhanced beyond present state. Regarding addons I would assume that all J7 addons will reflect J7 but they may be different if they assume a particular ide. The world of J is thus a bit more complex in J7 than what it used to be. I guess you can do most of wnat you want to do regarding plots, graphics and forms but they surely differ between each of J.exe, JHS and GTK.
