You may sit with a task to do something. You try out various things and after all kinds of trials and errors you wind up with one line you are very proud of after all your time and effort as well as years of experience of programming.
You present this line and give no explanation of what it is really doing besides input and output. You can not seriously expect others or at least not inexperienced users to understand and read that line.
