Ok, yes, you are correct -- my jijx window is not the one that becomes stale. However, others do become stale (e.g. jal).
That said, I do not use a single machine, and the concept of "just start the browser once" is not going to work for me. If I am using five machines that becomes "just start the browser once" times five. And, ok, on some of them I might have j sessions which are weeks old. But on those machines I am also going to have dozens of browser tabs open -- I remember when I used to have a browser that had a limit of about 70 open windows, and I would hit that frequently. Meanwhile, other machines can be old, underpowered occasional use machines or someone else's machine or a frequent reboot machine, or whatever... Also, I do not have chrome installed on all of them (for similar reasons). And even if I do it's not necessarily the browser I am going to want to be using. Anyways, the mode of use which you favor is not going to work well for me. -- Raul On Wed, Dec 28, 2011 at 11:16 AM, Kip Murray <k...@math.uh.edu> wrote: > Raul, you have mentioned using the Chrome browser.
