iloc question and using pro tools 10 on a mac book pro

Hi, I bought pro tools 10 and it came with an ilok preloaded with a pro 
tools 10 authorization.  I have registered pro tools with avid but as of 
yet have not created an ilok.com account should I do this even if my 
ilok has the proper license on it already?  Also, I have a mac book pro 
17 inch model late 2011 and am trying to find out do I really need a 
full sized apple keyboard as I normally don't use a num pad can I get by 
with none?  Also, I am also trying to find out the best way to read the 
manuals as if I navigate to the proper chapter and do a say all I find 
that voiceover does not always speak everything and sometimes speech 
will stop or parts of words are cut off.  When speech stops when doing a 
say all which should not happen I have had to hit voiceover and down 
errow to go down then hit say all again which I should not have to do. 
I also have a pc with adobe acrobat and open book version 9 but can't 
find a way to jump to the correct chapters in either program any ideas 
on the best way to read the manuals or ways to convert them to other 
formats or audio files so I can read them on a different system or 
device and do the recording and work on pro tools?  Nick Gawronski
