Hi Chris,

The vocals would come through more smoothly with less vocal processing. I
don't know what you used, but the inflections and some of the formant sound
artificial. But again, the song carries the weight via the story. Smiley!

Sincerely,

  Shawn,

You say you have heard better productions. Can you elaborate on this? I'd
like to get this as pollished as I can. Is there anything you'd recommend that
I do that may possibly help either in ProTools itself, or just vocal technique
wize?

Feel free to write me off list, if you think it's more appropriate.

  Chris.

    Dear Chris,

I didn't have time to read your previous email lacking the link you have
provided in this one. But I did now click on the link for this song.

As I bitterly weep, I am writing this email to you, or to who ever wrote
this song. Admittedly, I have heard better productions, but I have not felt
this much emotion or wept like this in years from a song. Please don't
misunderstand my comment, it is meant to convey, that the most important
component of any great song, it the ability to invoke deep emotion in the
listener. Congratulation!

At this current cross road of my life, this song has struck the ultimate
cord of my heart. Young parents, and my children won't fully understand right
now, but if and when, one day they walk this walk, they will cry too.

All I can say is thank you, from an empty nest dad..!

    Take Care,

    Sean
