Hi, I did call Avid support and the remote process was very easy and now
pro tools 10 and 11 as well as the digi 003 drivers for pro tools 11 are
installed. They told me that the pro tools 11 drivers should work with
pro tools 10 but they really have not been very well testted. Will pro
tools 10.3.8 still work ok on lion even if future versions won't? If my
pro tools 10 sessions contain no plugins should I be able to convert
them to pro tools 11 format for off line bouncing? Nick Gawronski

Hi, Just for everyones information if you buy a boxed copy of pro tools as long as your
email address is the same address you use with your avid.com account you will be able to
upgrade to pro tools 11. I just completed the upgrade process and now am having an issue
with entering in my registration information into the avid site. I enter in my ilok user
ID and fill out the information but when I get to the box that asks me when did I buy
this product and try to fill it in on any system mac or linux or windows I am unable to
do so. Voiceover just says "clickable" and asks me for the date but it is not a
normal edit field and no matter what I try I can not get any of the information entered
into the form. Also, when it asks for information like if you wish to receive product
information I was able to get to the options on the mac but not with windows no matter
what browser I used. I thought that Avid was for accessibility of their site but when I
run across these registration issues on the site this is not what I am seeing. I did
email the web master address on the avid site about these major issues and did mention
about this mailing list and what has been going on in regards to pro tools accessibility
and gave lots of resources for fixing these issues is it best to just call support or see
if they respond? Nick Gawronski

Hi, I was trying to contact Avid about this issue but no luck on getting any
email addresses on the site. I was trying to see if I had the free upgrade to
pro tools 11 and was told by the guitar center to check for my avid.com account
information which of course as I bought a boxed version of pro tools 10 I don't
have. I went on the avid.com site and tried to recover my login information
but got a 500 internal server error page so went and created a new account
using my email address. Once I did that I tried both the serial number from
the boxed product and the registration ID to access my pro tools 10 downloads
and no matter what I try it says I don't have any products or the information I
entered is invalid. I did try searching the web site for the information but
found nothing. What information do I need to provide the account system or who
at Avid can I write to that can look into this issue as this product is
registerd as i got the registration successful email? Nick Gawronski
