The audio in your session has technically been imported into the session but not into the session's Audio Files folder. Files can exist anywhere on any drive and Pro Tools will look in the folders within which it expects to find the files. The best way to remedy the situation at this point is to go to the File Menu and Choose "Save Session Copy." This will save the session along with all audio files (providing you check the checkbox for this option" and save the whole thing in a new folder. The new session will have all associated files within the session Audio Files folder.
