Hi Michael,

Chuck still doesn't understand what you're talking about so don't chase him
down his rabbit hole.

What you want to do is narrow down what's displayed in the clip list. Are you
working with only one track or several tracks? If the name of the track you're
working with is unique, you can narrow down the clip list with the first few
letters of the region name. Press Command-Shift-f while focused on the clip
list and type the first few letters of the region name. The list will display
only regions with the letters you typed. bTW, you can scroll down the list with
a mouse so your wife can find regions further down the list.

The other option is to eliminate unused regions. This will dramatically reduce
the number of clips within the list. all of these options are within the
submenu under "Regions list".

Finally, to be clear, I didn't say to duplicate the tracks but duplicate the
playlist. There still remains the original track but the timeline is duplicated
like having a sheet of copy paper underneath. You're always just working on the
topmost sheet of paper. Hope that helps,

Man, it would be really beneficial to you if you sat down and read through the
Pro Tools documentation while trying stuff in Pro Tools. Anyone who's serious
about learning it and using it efficiently should endeavor to do this.
Otherwise, it's a lot of shooting in the dark and fumbling around. Just a
suggestion. Cheers,

Slau
