My system has been running El Capitan and ProTools 12.4 for A couple months now
just fine. Just for your information… :-)

Take care,

PT I got a message that it could not be opened because it wasn't responding. I
restarted my system and when I tried to open PT I got a status window and a
message that said verifying but that was it. I'm beginning to think that it
just doesn't like el capitan.

Gordon,

After you open the DMG I hilite the actual app, command, option, w which closes
out all Windows. Next once on the Macintosh HD, navigate and highlite the
Applications folder and command-v.

My finder view is set to columns but this is a personal preference.

I should have said when you highlite the app, command c to copy.
