Hi Jens,

You'll need to use the keyboard shortcuts for navigating within the Edit window 
timeline. The shortcuts are all listed in a pdf that resides in the 
Documentation folder within the Pro Tools folder in your Documents folder. I've 
extracted most of that info, stripped out Windows shortcuts and saved it as a 
plain text document. You can download it here:

Search for the section on navigation and editing.
