You should be able to launch those Focusrite presets without any sighted
assistance as you can load presets from the file menu using (command O).
The only issue you may have is changing the clock source or resetting the
sample rate as those settings are not stored in the preset files. Some of
us did ask focusrite a while back about changing this behaviour so that
sample rate and clock source would be stored in preset files but Focusrite
are not keen to do this.

I have owned a UAD apollo and currently own a Focusrite Clarret. Neither are
accessible but the focusrite will allow you to save presets for different
settings you can launch as needed with sighted assistance.

Regarding the new Apogee stuff I haven't been hands on with them yet but it
appears they are using the Element control panel and not maestro. Also it
appears control is all via software now either via the element control
software on the mac, or wirelessly via an iOS device. Also intergrates into
logic so it can be controlled right from with the mixer. Hopefully the
Element control software will be accessible as well.

Ah, OK, thanks for clarifying that. Looks like the only control panel
application that’s currently accessible on the Mac side is the Apogee
Maestro software, which is not to say that other interfaces aren’t useable
but I have yet to see proprietary cross-platform control panel software
that’s accessible on the Mac.
Thanks,
Slau

Sorry, I wrote either, but meant neither. ;) They are not accessible.
