Why mark the track with a hotspot when we now have FloTools?

Hi Joy,
First of all you half to have made a selection in the track your going to quantize. Second of all you half to make sure the track is still selected in the tracks list. I mark the track with a hotspot in the tracks list and query the hotspot to make sure its still selected before trying to edit it! :) I've noticed that tracks drop out of being selected for a while now, and still need to track down what causes it to get un selected. But most of all I "ALWAYS" hide all tracks not being edited to avoid issues that might come up.

Hey list,
i've encountered the following situation when tracking MIDI in PT12.7. Maybe someone can either reproduce this, or point out what i'm doing wrong. Scenario: I have, let's say, 6 Instrument tracks going, and record on them in sequence. So, 16 bars, then add another 8, and so on. I've noticed that for some reason the quantize-function stops working after a while. I call it up, option 0, and the apply button is greyed out.
Why is that?

thanks for any suggestions,

Joy
