What kind of coverage? What price point? What kind of tuning? I have seen people get 75 to 100 users on a WRT54GL with careful tuning etc running e-mail / light browsing workload. A lot more testing is needed in terms of best configurations / practices for community wirleless networks built from commodity parts. Also there is 3.65Ghz stuff which is very interesting but hampered by exclusion zones. I have been leading the fight in gaining access to the zones for some time now.
