Brian,

When you asked about using a Flash card, I thought that's what you wanted to
do.  You can, the Type 2, and if you want a lot of storage space it's
probably going to be cheaper.  The down side is that the PCMCIA card (so I
understand) is mechanical and you can hear the clicking from time to time.
I gather you don't hear it if you use a Compact Flash card with a PCMCIA
adapter.
