Tim, The best thing to do is to check the bitrate of the files that will play against the bitrate of the files that won't play. To get the relevant information, in Winamp, open the relevant file and then do alt+3 to get the file information up.

I have many teaching MP3 files that I have downloaded from the same site on a CD-ROM. The Ptr1 will read some of them but skip otheres. I have another CD of MP3 files that I have recorded off of the Radio with my PC. The Ptr1 will read some of them but skip otheres. Can anyone help explain what I may be doing wrong? I would really like this machine to be the answer to my reading problems. Thanks, Tim __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
