Hi all, How can I force a shutdown? For some reason my PTR1 has freaked out and I can't seem to turn it off. It is stuck right in the middle of executing a command. That is, the waiting tone is on and I can't seem to turn off the machine. I've tried holding down the shut down button for a few seconds until the machine turned itself off like one would do on a PC, but nothing happens because I can still hear the waiting tone. If I press any of the buttons I hear: "Please wait." Any ideas are surely appreciated as for now I guess I'm waiting for the battery to run out.
PS: this problem started when I pressed and held down the play key to get feedback on the time remaining on the daisy book I was reading. This problem has happened before when using the play key in this manner. I can't remember how I fixed it.
