Aman, I tried that a couple of times and just now I held down the switch for about an entire minute which should be more than enough time. This is so strange that its funny. I've been sitting here working and listening to the PTR1 tone since I sent my first message. Whereas I hated the fact that the ptr had such a short battery life, I now can't seem to wait for it to die. Question: Will I lose my bookmarks and settings if I pull the battery out in hopes of shutting the ptr 1 down? I'm hoping someone out there who doesn't have any bookmarks can place a bookmark or two and pull their battery out and test to see if the bookmarks are still there. That is if you don't have any bookmark information or settings to lose just in case you might lose all your settings.
