Ed back here again. I would say no way on that, because there are 
people that would like to put there ptr1 through a  stereo system, 
and they would want to use the beap as a guide to adjust the output 
level going through the stereo.   instead, if they want to disable 
the beaps in the vol., why not have an obtion to turn it off.
