Dear Customer,
We are sorry you’ve experienced a loss time and confusion for PTR1 firmware
up date as well as PRS.
Firstly we acknowledge that there are indeed discrepancies between the
instruction guide
and CD contents as follows.
a) Revised User’s Guide in DAISY and text file does not include in this up
grade CD
that you can download it from

b) Upgrade version of Plextalk Recording Software(PRS) does not include in
this up
grade CD that you can download it from:
http://www.plextalk.com/europe/downloads_PRS2.02.html (14MB)
Secondly we are learn such inconvenience situation by the user that it only
see the control
panel menu, if the upgrade CD is in the drive.
For user convenience we will fix it then release the revise firmware at our
website soonest.
without change the version No.
Thirdly we have to warn several point before up grade because there are
some modification
for the up grade process.
1) Be sure to read through Important notification and upgrade process on CD
guide.
2) Be sure to connect the AC adapter before upgrade.
3) Be sure to remove the PC card before upgrade.
4) Be sure to remove the USB cable before upgrade.
5) Be sure to confirm the mode of play as standard play by pushing number 3
key.
If the mode is special play, please change normal play by pushing
number 3 key once.
6) Upgrade installation is automatically started, after the message that
tells you about
start of upgrade installation.
The upgrade installation process will take approximately two minutes.
Note: During upgrade, do not touch any key and do not turn off the PTR1.
Finally, we will revise such discrepancies and clearly indicated those
warning and new firmware
soonest and if you feel you are not being given proper consideration,
please contact to us.
