Hi,

It sounds that whilst writing to the card you are getting write errors, which
is then shoving the rest of the indexes into a mess.  Unfortunately, due to
the units processing power, you can't do much of the correction on the fly.
Some of the functions you should perhaps think of using whilst in this state
is the ``search for edited information'' option, if the book is not reading
correctly.  You may also want to do a scandisk on the card, to see if there
are any reported bad sectors on the drive.
