All, Any ideas please.
A colleague has a PTR1 which, when connected to the mains or not connected to the mains, and turned on, does nothing at all when turned on. There are no musical chimes, there is no announcement of the usual "Disk please wait" etc. The only sign of life is that the power light flashes. We've double checked that the volume and the guide volume settings are up to the highest position. Any thoughts much appreciated. Is there a hard reset command for the unit?
