Just stop this complaining. The bank account needed opening, it is now open. If the TLDA owes you
$60 for something, can someone pay this? Karl, Bradley - what is this about? If we owe him $60, we
should pay him. If not, not.
In any event, this kind of stuff detracts from our work.

How about, since the TLDA owes me 60 dollars, the TLDA pay me.
Until then.. how you leave your comments to yourself.
You are ill-formed, the Board authorized me to open the account, and
Braldey opened the account on his own.

THE BANK ACCOUNT IS OPEN. THE BOARD AUTHORIZED IT. GET OVER IT AND BE
QUIET.
Stop nit picking and worring about non-sense.
The more you whine and complain, the more foolish we look. Bradley,
myself and others have worked hard on
real matters and have made progress.
I would hope that you would have seen this example and would have
realized that this childist nit-picking
is DAMAGING to this organization.
Now please SHUT UP and leave the rest of us alone - we are doing real
work and making progress. Joe's
posting to this list have been moderated and I propose that anyone
else that hinders our progress be moderated as well.
It has been such a pleasure to have a quiet space in which to get work
done in this last month without
the childish distractions. I consider it essential to continue that
environment and would propose any
means neccessary to do so.
If you don't like this organization, might I suggest that you resign.

resign as a director of the TLDA? INSIDE SCOOP
I am a little concerned about the accusations here.
As far as calling any one a liar, then let's start.
Here's some questions that I have on behalf of the members of the TLDA.
1. Where are the records to the Bank Account that was opened?
2. Under what authority did Bradley have to open an account?
3. Was there a Board meeting in which 2 board members where not
notified?
These question can be answered with documentation. Since I am
currently the Secretary, I can state I never received any
documentation pertaining to any of these items.
As a member, I have paid 60 dollars, for the filling, of the Legal
paper work, if there is a bank account, and it has money in this
account to start paying people back, then why is not being done.
On top of which, why would ANY member pay money for a fee, when the
financial area of this organization has never to date supplied any
paper work.
As secretary, I believe it is the duties of members to demand
documentation of all actions by all executives.
As far as the email below, it is every right of every member to show
concerns about speculation, since this is a 'group' run organization,
and that is based of the members, NO executive should ever call any
member a liar, (otherwise) we get back into the "Slander" issue again.
Bradley, I employ you to refrain from such comments.
As far as the communica below, I will at some point contact Roeland
Meyer personally to get the full reason as to his resignation, this
is the only fair and sure-fire method of understanding what is really
going on there.
As far as stating anyone is missing in facts... The fact is that
Bradley opened a bank account without the Board turnover of a
resolution, in where he made an executive decision, OUT of place, and
without authorization, I recommend that anyone wanted to donate at
this time, since the Bank account, was not opened by the secretary,
then it stands that it is not TLDA authorized bank account, and DO
NOT SEND YOUR MONEY.
As far as a Board meeting without 2 members, since I would be one of
those members, I can not state wither the meeting every happened, as
I was not notified, HOWEVER if Roeland was contacted, after he was
known to be inactive as a Board member then if is safe to say that
something per fraud is going on... And I would demand the notes,
minutes, and audio of that meeting. I speculate that 'email' list is
NOT a reason to give for not communicating with the other 2 Board
members, since Roeland Meyer's had to be called, via a phone or skype.
There are no excuses for this behavior anymore, YOU as a member, even
you as a Public reading, should start demanding answer. I as the
official secretary, demands answer.

What you have posted is not only a lie, but I think you will
understand when I say you have been remiss in your responsibility to
check your facts.
Roeland's departure had absolutely nothing to do with Joe, and he
again confirmed this less than an hour ago. Sure, Joe making noise
because that is all he can do now that he, the moderator, has been
moderated at the GA; he, the troublemaker has been moderated or
banned from participation from virtually every working list that is
significant; and he the liar has corralled a cadre of naive, well
meaning people who are wholly mis-informed and as a result, making
an ass out of themselves.
You know that cross-posting is bad netiquette Hugh. And providing an
avenue for a moderated individual the forum to post where they could
not otherwise is obviously...., what would you call it Hugh?
In the future, please check your facts, or you might end up with egg
all over your face again - Joe has made a fool out of you in public.

Roeland Meyer resigned as a director of the TLDA today. The
reasons behind this move has nothing to do with book
publishing. It has everything to do with common sense. I asked
Roeland Meyer
to tender his resignation a few days ago. And I thank him for
doing so.
Roeland has not participated in a board meeting for years. So
it's simple common sense to vacate the position. He's hung on
hopping the TLDA drama queens in charge of the show would get
their act together and do some serious work. And he is I think
disappointed. He was recently asked to participate in a board
meeting held by Bradley Thornton and Karl Peters that passed a
resolution. Directors David Scott and Peter Dambier were not
invited to this teleconference meeting.
Roeland was not made aware that the resolution by the board to
establish banking facilities had designated Mr. Scott as the
officer in charge - not Bradley Thornton. He was not made aware
of Mr. Scott's objections to the motion on membership dues.
I personally feel Bradley Thornton and Karl Peters should be
ashamed of calling a board meeting with an inactive director for
the sole purpose of tricking him into passing resolutions and
faling to provide notice of the meeting to all directors. This
smells of collusion to a fraud.
In any case Roeland is gone. He is a director with vision. I
think he will come back once we kick the drama queens out of the
TLDA and start acting and delivering like the profession
association we claim to be and not the circus of clowns we now
have pretending to be in charge.
I would say what we have here in this resignation is another vote
of non confidence.
cheers

Recent events have made it clear to me that I need to resign my
TLDA
membership and curtail my activities in that area. Therefore, I am
resigning my Board seat such that the TLDA can use it to have
someone
that has more time for the activity.
I thank you all for letting me serve. I regret that I cannot do
more and
it is better that I allow someone else who does have the time
available
to occupy my seat and membership.
