Thanks for the update.

May I know what resources do you use to change the layout? If needed, I
can file a bug in Debian to make the changes take effect there (which,
consequently, I think will appear in Ubuntu as well).

BTW, I personally use Inscript layout. Any advantage of using Jhelum
instead? And how does Jhelum compare with other Indian languages layout,
primarily Hindi?
