Sorry for disturbing the conversation, but in you patch, does puppet
reload facts or at least providers between stages? One cool, and very
very useful use would be a bootstrap stage which would make sure augeas
is installed and/or lsb-distrealease is installed (which would allow
facter to decide if the current system is a debian or ubuntu one).
