I have begin small tests on my old server, I reach 7gbit/s with veth or without veth, with bridge directly or openswitch. (kernel 3.10 test only)
I'm cpu limited (2small cores), I'll try on a big 64cores server today. (I have patchs for Network.pm to manage veth-fwbridge, do you want them to test ?) ----- Mail original ----- De: "Alexandre DERUMIER" <[email protected]> À: "Dietmar Maurer" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Envoyé: Mercredi 23 Avril 2014 13:49:05 Objet: Re: [pve-devel] [PATCH] openvswitch hybrid network model implementation >>Yes. Do you have some time to implement that to test performance? yes, no problem. not today, but tomorrow I'll have time. I would like also to give some love to openvz veth management. Do you known where I can add some code to manage network bridge,ovs,.. ? (like for qemu in Network.pm) ----- Mail original ----- De: "Dietmar Maurer" <[email protected]> À: "Alexandre DERUMIER" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Envoyé: Mercredi 23 Avril 2014 10:46:59 Objet: RE: [pve-devel] [PATCH] openvswitch hybrid network model implementation > >>I don’t really understand above sentence, sorry.
